Exercises to get relief from Neck Pain on LEFT side

  1. STANDING ‘A’ ‘W’ ‘T’ ‘U’ ‘V’ ‘I’ EXERCISE

 How to do the exercise:

  • Stand straight against the wall
  • Move your arms through the various positions to form the different letters.
  • In the second position, bend your elbows and move them up to chest level to form a W.
  • Stretch your arms out to the side at the level of your chest/shoulders to form a T
  • Bend your elbows 90 degrees and raise them to shoulder level to form a U
  • Straighten your elbows and raise your arms diagonally above your head to form a V
  • Stand with your arms raised directly above your head to form an I
  1. PRONE AWTUVI EXERCISE

 How to do the exercise:

  • This exercise is same as the last one but the positioning of your body is different.
  • Lie o your stomach. Place the arms at your side with your elbows slightly bent.
  • Form the letters W,T,U,V,I
  1. QUADRUPED T-SPINE ROTATION

How to do the exercise:

  • Start with this position.
  • Place your left hand on the left side of your head
  • Open up your upper body to the same side as the hand behind your head.
  • Then lower that bent elbow towards the base elbow
  • Repeat this for several times.
  1. Side-to-Side Neck Tilt

How to do the exercise

  • From the same starting position, tilt you neck toward one shoulder, leading with your ear.
  • Hold for 5 seconds and then return to the starting position. Do this five times
  1. Shoulder Roll How to do the exercise
  • Raise your shoulders straight up and move them in a circle going forward. Do it 6 times.
  • Return to the start position, and make another 6 circles, this time going backward.
